Care Notes for Masks

Upon receiving your mask, please give it a wash before wearing it! All masks are packed in a non-sterile environment, and we want this baby to be clean before you put it on your precious face. Please click here to view washing instructions from our manufacturer. Regular mask washing is recommended to prevent breakouts and other yucky things!

Care Notes for Comfort Colors tees

Our latest long-sleeve tee (in lavender and dusty calico) is pigment-dyed. This gives each garment a unique, vintage, lived-in look...it also means the dye can bleed for the first few washes. For the lavender, we recommend washing with like-colors on cold. For the dusty calico, you may wish to wash it separately on the first cycle, also on cold. As with all dark-colored garments, colors may transfer onto light-colored garments in the wash...so try to only wash with like-colors for best results!

Care Notes for Tie Dye Tees

Tie dye tees come pre-washed and ready-to-wear! But when it does come time for a cleaning, we recommend the following:

We strongly recommend washing your tee separately on its first 1-2 cycles. We also recommend washing on COLD (if your washer has a “tap cold” setting, that works best), or hand-washing in cold water with mild detergent.
After the first 1-2 wash cycles, it is unlikely that your shirt will ever bleed again. We still recommend washing with like-colors to prolong the vibrance of your shirt.

While all our tie-dyes were made with professional-grade dyes and fixatives, it’s important to understand that tie dye is likely to fade or change over time. We hope you will view this as a natural part of the lifecycle of your garment.

Care Notes for 22k Gold Plated Jewelry

All our jewelry is made from brass and is plated with 22k gold. Our chains and earring hooks are made from nickel-free mixed metals.

Tarnishing can happen, especially when the jewelry is exposed to excess moisture and heat. Jewelry can also have “allergic”-type reactions to certain perfumes, lotions, and body products. If your jewelry becomes tarnished, our manufacturer recommends the following:

Dip a clean toothbrush into a solution of dish soap and water, scrub gently, dry with a microfiber cloth.
Do NOT use silver polish, it will destory the plating!

If your jewelry arrives tarnished or incurs any other damage in-transit, please don’t be afraid to reach out and let me know so I can get you a replacement!
